Arbor Vitae Campground is pleased to offer our campers an in-camp fishing guide, Matt McCumber.

Hi, I'm Matt. I specialize in musky fishing, but also guide for walleye, bass and panfish. I'm an avid tournament fisherman and also guide in the World Musky Hunt.

In 2007, I won 1st place in the WMT tournament on Bone lake, 1st place in the National Musky Open Eagle River, 1st place in the Husband and Wife National Musky Open in Eagle River, 1st place in the Hodag Musky Challenge and 4th place in the WMT Fall Classic on Lake Tomahawk.

I am also the designer and maker of the Rubber Dubber lure I used to win the tournaments in 2007.

I guide the Oneida and Vilas county area lakes. Some of the lakes are, Big Arbor Vitae, Lake Tomahawk, Big Saint Germain, Trout, Carrol, Sweeny, Squirrel, Sugar Camp Chain, Eagle River Chain, Pike Round Chain and many others in the area.

I have for your use, Lamiglas rods with Shimano and Abu reels. I use and provide Pro Staff Bucher tackle, Ducktail and Suick lures and the lures I design and make myself, such as the Rubber Dubber, which will now be produced by the Suick Lure Company. My boat is a fully rigged Mirrocraft with a 150.
