Saturday June 14th

7th Annual Trout Grill & Pig Roast
Our campers are invited to our campground trout grill & pig roast.
Menu: Grilled stuffed trout, roasted pork, coleslaw, baked potato bar, beer, soda and a great spread of sweet treats. Plates and silverware provided. Just bring your appetite and a chair. You must be camping with us during this time to enjoy our feast.

July 4th, 5th & 6th

5th Annual 4th of July Kids' Fishing Contest

Our fishing contest is open to all children aged 4 through 15, camping with us over the 4th of July. Kids can win great prizes for the largest fish in each of the 6 categories: Musky, Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Perch, and Bluegill. Fishing takes place on Friday the 4th & Saturday the 5th, with the prize awarding taking place at 10:00 am on Sunday the 6th. Make your camping reservations now and get your kids registered in our contest.

July 5th

5th Annual 4th of July Ice Cream Social

Get your ice cream and head off to our fixins bar. We have all kinds of sauces, yummy toppings and even whipped cream & a cherry to top off your personally made ice cream sundae.

September 13th through October 15th

Colorama Special

Come celebrate the colors of fall on Big Arbor Vitae Lake with Arbor Vitae Campground. Stay 4 nights (may include weekends) and get a 5th night free. Offer good on a 5 night stay only.

Featuring more than 120 interesting and unique arts and craft exhibitors, fun live music, great food and drink. Held at Torpy Park in downtown Minocqua, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
July 4th

Lakeland Community Concert Band at Torpy Park - 5:30 p.m.
Min-Aqua Bat water ski show - 7 p.m.

Arbor Vitae Firemen's Picnic
Join the town of Arbor Vitae and the Arbor Vitae Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday & Sunday August 2-3, 2008 for the annual Firemen's Picnic! Saturday will kick off with a Craft Show hosted by the Minocqua- Arbor Vitae- Woodruff Area Chamber of Commerce. The fun will continue with live music & drinks at the park and will wrap up with fireworks! Head back down to the park on Sunday for a car and large equipment show.
In addition to the fun at Firemen's Park on Saturday, just down the road Slo's Pub will be hosting their 1st Annual Milk Jug Regatta!
September 13th
Fall Colors Craft Show
Come check out the fall colors as you enjoy arts & crafts exhibitors, concessions and live music. Held at Torpy Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

44th Annual Beef-A-Rama

Saturday, September 27th All Day-Live Music at Torpy Park.
9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Craft Show at Torpy Park.
All Day - Beef Cooking/Grilling on the streets of downtown Minocqua, shopping, drink & food specials.
2:45 p.m. - Famous Parade of Beef down Main Street with the parade participants dressed in costume!
3 p.m. - Beef sandwich sales at Torpy Park.
4 p.m. - Awards Ceremony for Best Beefs and introduction of judges
